When Nurses are able to define our values and act in accordance, it allows us to realize our greatest potential, leading to a deeper sense of fulfillment. At ExpeditionED, we're guided by a set of core principles that define our work: a commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, courage, passion, optimism, balance and service to others. We believe that having our values and actions aligned is an essential component of mental wellness, allowing us to live a more balanced life and experience greater satisfaction in our daily practice.
ExpeditionED in the Community
Let's face it, Nursing may be a calling but it's also a job. We all have to make a living after all! But, it's also important to understand that there are some things that have inherent value and should not be monetized. We believe that service to others extends beyond our professional bedside practice into the community. It's an important way to establish meaningful connections with others outside of the work environment. These relationships are deeply rewarding and contribute to a sense of belonging and interconnectedness- essential components of mental wellness. At ExpeditionED we're committed to engaging in volunteer activities that help support the communities we serve. 28 Friends
More28 Friends is a holiday gift drive serving Hamilton Families of San Francisco. Since its inception in 2005, more than 3,000 homeless children have benefitted from gifts through the network of Nurses and other dedicated healthcare providers.
